After installing a compact electric pulley unit for our kitchen-to-dining setup, the first month revealed a lot about daily usability. The lift handles roughly 40 kg without strain, and the safety lock engages reliably every time the door closes. Noise is noticeable but not disruptive — about the level of a ceiling fan on medium. The only real adjustment was learning to balance trays so nothing shifts during the ride.
